It is not a little appropriate
that on this anniversary of D day, reason celebrates a victory in Wisconsin. Oh, I know it was nothing like that day, years ago, but there are some striking similarities as to the situation. Difficult and fortified positions, an entrenched enemy, seemingly overwhelming odds.
But it was a little victory in the ongoing war of attrition. A turning of the tide, however small it seems. Say a little prayer of thanks, and then work that much harder.
Now you know that winning is possible.

He should run for president.
Nah. Walker is ok but not that good.
Also the anniversary of the end of hostilities at the Battle of Midway…the “high water mark” of the Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere.
Least no one had to parachute in behind enemy lines on this one.
A little reality…the unions mostly gave up their fight shortly after making the ballot, and they never really brought whatever they have for heavy artillery.
Sort of like the Germans…they fortified the coast of Normandy well enough, but lost air supremacy, had no decent command & control and thereby gave the initiative over to the other side.
Yep, close comparison.
Also, Eisenhower outspent them 7-1, he he!
