Not till I get my roof fixed, please! Damn thunderstorms two weeks ago and I’ve got two leaks in the bedroom, and still waiting for the complex to fix em… sigh

Wish I could give you a bit of my precipitation. Been raining hard enough to push my raingear to it’s failure point.
Jim, you forgot taking a carpet shampooer to the house and of course every eco-friendly housewife’s favorite: hanging freshly washed rugs, comforters, and duvets out to dry on the clothesline.
It’s been raining for a full week in the Inland NorthWet. Y’all can have some of our rain.

Try grilling out… that always seems to work around here. Wish we could send you some of it…the rain, that is, not the results of the grilling. :)

Could definitely use some rain down here in Tucson.
Think it has been about 4 months since the last wet stuff fell from the sky.

Whenever we reshingled the house, we’d finish in the rain. Every time. Never failed yet.
Last night, in an area that the evening before showed an official ‘0’ chance of rain, started storming about 0400 and kept it up for damn near four hours where I was in Texas; thought for a while I was going to have a damn wet ride home.
No kidding. Its been drier than a nun’s chuck around here.
Looks like you’ve got a 50% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow and tomorrow night…
Think of it this way, though: if it doesn’t rain, you don’t have to cut the back grass.

Og, in this time of suffering, might I suggest that you employ the Suburban Rain Dance?
Step 1. Wash and Wax your ‘slpoders.
Step 2. Mow your lawn.
Step 3. Lay out a nice, classic picnic. Wicker basket, red n’ white checked cloth. Fried chicken, ‘tater salad, bottle of wine.
I don’t suggest the above lightly.
The fearsome joining of those three, powerful forces is likely to bring Dorothy & Toto class storms to your neighborhood.
Remember when they “Crossed the Streams” in GhostBusters? Yeah, it’s like that, only with rain, lightning and thunder!

lol. So, Jim, you think the naked rain dance in the backyard may be chasing the clouds away?

And it rained here in OKC, too
