Wow. Andy Griffith, dead at 86.
From “No Time for Sergeants” all the way through to his most recent work, I enjoyed him. Ears like the open doors on a taxicab, and a face that looked like he was related to Dresie and Casie, he was something apart from the usual. Rest in peace, boss.

The Andy Griffith Show was the pinnacle of the Situation Comedy. I’ll also never forget the saluting toilets in NTFS. When did we get so old?

NTFS was great. Andy Griffith and Nick Adams worked together well in that movie.
I liked the shows. Met him once in Manteo NC and found out quick he was on the other end of the political spectrum from myself.
He will me missed. Another icon of my child hood passes.
