Dang.
Six years ago, week before last, Acidman passed away. I’d forgotten it was the end of June, one of my trips through my bloglist took me there and reminded me.
Love him or hate him, there wasn’t anyone like him. I aspire to be that big a pain in the ass, but as a general rule, he was the unequalled master. A comment from him warmed you all over, to have the imprimatur of his words. A post about you or that refers to you(The link is broken but here’s the original post he linked to) was downright amazing.
We miss you, Acidman. Hope wherever you are the beer is cold, the broads are hot, and the guitars are all CF Martin dreadnoughts.

Acidman was one of my favorite bloggers; I still miss him.
He’s been dead longer than he Blogged…and he still gets more hits than I do…Just Damn!
He definitely left us too soon. It’d be easy to picture him blogging from a nursing home at ninety, groping the nurses and asking them if they wanted to see his inflatable Johnson.
The mental picture of the Acidman in a home and pulling Roscoe out was too much. He was a unique man with a voice that still lingers. Most of the people I read daily come from his blogroll. There’s only one other that comes close. Neptunus Lex…two totally different men; but both gone too soon.
Respects,
Tom
You forgot wimmin with red toenails – it ain’t heaven to Rob if he hasn’t got that!
He’s definitely been missed.
