after several weeks
Of 90 and higher weather, daytime 70’s and nightime low 60’s are extremely nice.
People here think its hot. Lol.

If we got temperatures like that around here people would be getting out their sweaters and coats.
I will never forget the time I was in the Philippines and saw down vests for sale.
I mean, come on.
Moving from the Puget Sound area to South Eastern Washington was a pretty huge change. There were years in the South Sound area where it didn’t break 82 degrees. Heck, we’ve been over that every day since May…nothing compared to the folks in the midwest, but hot for someone who grew up with webbed toes.
Daughter just got back from a week in Seattle. Her verdict: “They don’t have SUMMER up there.”
When son was stationed at Tacoma, among other things he said was “They have the wussiest grass in the world up here; it doesn’t rain for three days and it starts dying.”
For one of the most adaptive animals on the planet we certainly do complain a lot when the weather isn’t exactly what we are used to.
Nah, it doesn’t die. Ever. It just hibernates until it rains next week. I’ve lived in W.WA since I was 7 and I’ve always been entranced by how the grass around here browns out then a few hours after a half decent mist it begins greening up again. Except for all the liberal idiots (Redundancy alert!) this is a wondrous region to live in.

103 here in San Antonio. Thank God for a/c.
We just finished a week of nice weather in the low 90’s and the week in front of us will be back to normal in the low 100’s. We were suffering a couple of weeks ago when the tail end of a Pacific hurricane increased the humidity to about 35% :-)
We topped out at 107 today. 109 in Joplin. Not a drop of rain in the foreseeable future. I’ve never liked winter, but am really looking forward to it this year.
Hit 106 here(OKC) today. Had to help defrost a big upright freezer; put it on a dolly and rolled it into the parking lot and opened the door. Sucker was BADLY iced-up, but only took a couple of hours.
