Still in recovery from a week of 12-14 hour days
lollygagged around most of yesterday. Today I’m back from mass and breakfast, and I really don’t have the ambition to do much lawnmowing, though I really need to. Hope the ambition surfaces later today.

Although I’m 68, I still experience fits of ambition. I have learned, however, that it is in my best interest to lie down quietly until they pass.

We were in Notre Dame yesterday morning for a wedding at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, then drove from there to Fort Wayne to have dinner with our “kids”, then drove home and got here about 10:30 last night.
To say that my get up and go kind of got up and went today is an understatement. But I still managed to get a 300-piece mailing out the door while watching the NCIS marathon.
Sorry I didn’t get a chance to see you this trip north. Was tough to say goodbye, to Schmoo especially.
Went to Mass, shot some trap, spent the rest of the day taking care of my invalid wife.
She is sleeping now.
I will check on her before I clean the gun.
A good day.
