I have a scar
near the top of my head. I do not remember where I acquired it for sure; I know dad dug some buckshot out of there once, and I also remember a solid hit with an aluminum drafting square some years back. Could be either of those things.
When barber joe gives me a high-and-tight, he sometimes nicks that scar, which is pronounced, and then it drives me nuts with itching for a couple days after while it heals. Daytime, i can ignore it, I scratch it in my sleep and bleed like a pig all over the pillow etc.
Thank god I don’t shave my back, the bleeding would be constant.

I also have one on top of my head. That’s why I never get my hair cut that short. I am also lucky to have no male pattern baldness.
Not to mention the scratching when all the back hair starts growing back. Been there, done that, won’t do it again.
Wow! You have a thick hide if you got buck shot betwixt skin and skull! No chipped bone involved in that dustup?
I have had bird shot picked out of my upper neck and lower scalp. Doc’s telling me how just one of the little buggers could have slipped in between the neck bones and had me in a wheelchair peeing on myself. I was just pissed off up to the point he shared that with me, then I was scared spitless for a few minutes.
BTW, I collected the bird shot from one of my idiot childhood friends while bird hunting.
Yeah, mine involved disputes over the ownership of produce

Did you get the watermelon?
I did indeed.
