Still. I expect he isnt a bad man. Certainly, a cow could do a better job of leading us anywhere than wingnuthead, who couldn’t lead a pack of dogs to a pile of raw meat.

Four more years of Obama is certainly not anything I’m looking forward to.
I’d hope even the Paulbots would get that, eventually.
What? And give up their ideological purity?
The only reason I’m voting for Mittens is that if the Republitards put up Zombie Ford, it would still be safer than having the Anointed One put up a Supreme Court Nominee in case one of the so-called “Conservative 5” is gone during the next 4 years. If Harry Reid and the DemoCommies are in charge of the Senate with Barry at the White House, then it would be like having Hugo Chavez and his “Rubber Stamp Supreme Court” down in Venezuela.
We are trapped in an abusive relationship with our Government:

And there’s nothing we can do about it:

And voting for the Lesser Of Two Evils is immoral, unethical and unpatriotic:

That should cheer everyone up.
The Sobran article contains one of my all-time favorite passages:
“The modern state stands ready to release you from all your duties to your own family, while constantly increasing your political obligations. You can divorce your spouse, neglect your parents, abandon or abort your children. But you’d better pay your taxes, most of which will be spent for the benefit of people you’ve never met and have never agreed to support.
This system of forcing some to pay others’ way is justified as “compassion,†but it’s an inversion of the natural order of love, the family-centered affections that modern liberalism despises as narrow and selfish. It’s typical of the champions of the all-absorbing state that even as they treat the family as something a child must be protected from, they try to clothe the state itself in the warm metaphors of “family,†“community,†and “village.†”
Nailed it.
“And voting for the Lesser Of Two Evils is immoral, unethical and unpatriotic:”
That’s the lie people tell you who want to remain in charge. Hope you don’t actually believe that nonsense.
“And voting for the Lesser Of Two Evils is immoral, unethical and unpatriotic:â€
As constructed, this sentence makes no sense. To try and do less of anything bad would be a good thing, wouldn’t it?
A priori – voting for the lesser of two evils must be good….
The only person who would say anything like that is someone who has a vested interest in things not getting any better.
I don’t think linking Joe Sobran and Lew Rockwell is forwarding a serious point of view. Romney wasn’t my guy, but with a Tea Party infused Congress I believe he is capable of great things. Whether he wants to or not. Just getting Keystone and drilling licenses, and starving off the greenhead diabolicals is worth the choice.
I thought Obama saw dogs as a pile of raw meat:)
Second the dog food source for the one.
I don’t know that mitt will be bad as I cannot forsee the future. I do like the future I can sense with him running the show over the overpaid wienie we have now.
Who knows, it could be really good.
Have a friend who despises Romney on a number of points; he’ll vote for him because “It took a long time to get into this mess, and it’ll take a lot of steps to try to clean it up.”
Caveat is that if we can get enough people who actually DO want to clean it up in the House & Senate, we’ve got a chance to accomplish some things.
No, I’m not a dreamer on this; I do know that without getting Obama out of that office, we’ve got squat of a chance.
The thing is, you guys have to get Obama out before you get *any* chance of improving things. Voting for the lesser of evils is *still* better than voting for evil – and Obama and his crew are undoubtedly evil.
“Still. I expect he isnt a bad man.”
That sentence is, for me, reason enough to vote for Mitt to avoid four more years of Obama. Mitt, but all accounts, is a basically decent human being. The current occupant of the White House is a vile person, interested only in his own advancement and in getting his own way. Sort of what he claims Romney to be.
Sorry for the late comment on this topic, busy weekend painting the bedroom. Fun stuff.
