   Was this prompted over the news that the godfather was leaving the Dem convention early?

   And you think he is doing so because he has a big shit-storm back home, with the Chicago teachers union prepping for a strike? Good analysis.

   And from your last line it is your fair guess that Rahm has to make a big show of being held hostage to the teachers otherwise he’ll never pull off giving them what they ask for in this economy?

   Hence your opening question: Does he have the balls to presume there are enough idiot Chicagoans that he can get away with it?

   Yes sir. What with his creation, the Won, in trouble too, there is every expectation Rahm may be worried about friendly fire under cover of the current crime wave he claims isn’t there?
