I didn’t see the debate live
but after all the hooraw I figured I’d better see it, so I watched it in the airport and on my phone.
Romney, as I’ve said many times, is no great shakes. He certainly gave Obama the asswhipping he deserved, and if we’re lucky, he will continue to do so.
I still expect the Won to win, by theft if no other way., This is why you need to remember: Democrats- liberals- are the enemy of all mankind. Humanity has always suffered- alway will suffer- from their socialist, redistributionist, malthusian ideals, and if we fail at eradicating this evil from our lives by the normal means, we’re going to have to do so by other methods. Either that or die from it as a species.
Romney is not Mr Right, but he is certainly Mr Right now, a knot in the rope to keep us slipping right off the end. We could rest a second or two before climbing back up.

I prefer to think of it as a chance to gather our strength befor we have to fight the dogs in the pit below us.
You may be right hale.
Both good metaphors.
Is it just me, or have the Republicans gotten their ticket upside down for the second time in a row?
If there’s any man who could be elected President and do more than tie a knot in the end of the rope, I think it’s Ryan.
A Presidential Platform I could wholeheartedly endorse:

Since that ain’t gonna happen in my lifetime, Mittens it is.
Yep, now it’s REALLY going to get interesting…
For someone who’s supposed to be the smartest, most articulate halfrican on the planet, Oblamebush sure showed ’em didn’t he?
If, as Pope Algore I of the Holy Church of Glowingball Warmerung said, the Fauxbama was limited by the thin air of Colorado, perhaps Mittens was too, and this was at best a mediocre performance on his part. A mediocre performance which served to knock Jug Hussein Ears Downgrade Two on his half white butt. Over and over and over again.
The only things missing were the sounds of Kenyan/Indonesian/Hawaiian bones breaking and the splashing of halfrican blood.

A rope with a good knot at the end makes a fine weapon for fighting dogs in a pit.
