Joanna Opines:
(And, Welcome Back, Joanna!) that the Four Rules of Gun Safety apply to many if not all things in life, and I could only think of this
So with the Gunny’s cadence in mind, look again at the four rules:
1.All guns are always loaded.
2.Never point the gun at anything you are not willing to destroy.
3.Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.
4.Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
Lord it is an interesting perspective. Maybe someone should have suggested that to Petraeus.
I was never prouder when I was handling a rifle at my Dad’s house and my 15 year old son automatically said “Finger out of the trigger guard” (said booger hook was nowhere near the bang switch, but the fact that he spouted that automatically filled me with a warm fuzzy)
