Some years are just better than others.
I had a wonderful time not being at work, though, I’mna tell you. And I did get to see a lot of turkeys, and I have plans for turkey hunting in spring.
And now I’ve purchased and set a Christmas tree, and hung the lights, and checked all the fluids in the ride, and I’m off to parts unknown this morning for some back-to-work fun.

Theres still archery left. And a short season after Christmas.

We still have bow and late muzzy till january and then a late doe only that we can use rifles in some counties.
Might get the freezer full yet.
I feel your pain. While I got a doe early in the year, I didn’t fill my cow elk tag, which is a 6-7 hit until I’ll earn another one.
