The russians saw this, and some recorded it , and they gave us warnings. We should be heeding those warnings.

As Bezmenov averred 25 years ago, it is probably too late to do anything to stop the takeover. This is why I think those in government have spoken and acted in what otherwise would seem too brash a manner: they believe they are unstoppable too. I surely hope your assessment of believers pans out for them in the manner you diagnose. Unfortunately it will still be bad for our posterity.
Perhaps there is great value in being forced to live thru terror and depravation and in needing to rebuild. If nothing else, that missing element known as humility will return one way or another.

Which reminds me: I recommend the movie “Escape.” It contained an effort by Hollywood during wartime to affect some Nazi apparatchiks that seems to have been somewhat helpful for those who did get aid and survive. Maybe it and how it parlays sentiments will help you reach whatever is still human in USSA apparatchiks.
