Black forest ham
is made by seasoning a ham with pepper, coriander, salt, juniper berries, and other stuff; After absorbing this seasoning it is scraped more or less salt free and cold smoked over fir and pine scraps. The cold smoking gives it the deep red color and the crack-like flavor that makes you eat until you can’t stand up anymore. I love a good black forest ham. But until now, I had never eaten Black Forest Bacon.

This is additionally maple flavored black forest bacon. Yes, it’s good. Yes, you want some. You want a lot. But this is all gone, because I ate it.

I don’t know that they do a mail order busness yet- but you could easy drive down there in an afternoon from where you are. And the bacon is good. In the way having the Dallas Cowgirls stop by and give you a hand taking a bath while simultaneously keeping the wife occupied shopping using your worst enemies credit card is good.
