Hard to feel motivated
yesterday I managed to pull down the Christmas lights. What? they were off, they had just frozen to the gutter. Anyway now they’re down. Today I have a few things i need to put in the basement. And then possibly another nap.

I never got around to putting up lights this year…for some reason having my right leg encased in fiberglass for most of October and November caused SWMBO to order me to stay off the roof.
Far be it from me to disobey a direct order.

Of course, you could be like me, and lose control completely in the display of newly arrived bulbs at the local WalMart. I pondered long and hard, and steeled myself to only get purple phlox and a big, healthy clematis root. (Rain and slush in February always gives me spring fever.)
