Snowmageddon 2013

One day of bad weather and one snowblowing. Warm next couple days. It can be spring anytime now, that would be fine.

We tend to get almost no snow toward the end of the year. I cant remember our last white christmas.

2009 was the last time there was enough snow on the ground for Christmas that the grass was obscured–but on Christmas Eve of that year it was raining. (We got several inches more snow on Dec 26th of that year.)

But you’re right: most winters, we don’t get serious snow around here before January. If we get snow in December it tends to melt within a few days, and it’s very seldom that we get snow earlier than December.

Now, watch: this year we’ll get snow in October and it’ll hang around until March of ’14. *sigh*
