This was supposed to be a GOOD week.
This was supposed to be the week I relaxed and things came back into focus for me. The week I spent time afield and peaced out. The week I got a deer and took it home and packed it in my freezer. Instead, friends are dying, park rangers harshing my mellow, people all around acting like jerks. And now it’s snowing.
I’m gonna be happy to get back to work, futhuchrissakes.

Oh c’mon; snow can be a good thing while hunting. Quiets down the brush and increases the contrast between the quarry & the background.
Some of the most peaceful moments I can recall have been in a snowy wood hunting the wily whitetail.
Sure! All good things. Except it’s colder than crap right now.
This too shall pass. You will be alright. Scott is right. I think Sunday will be the day. Make some deer jerky for me!
