Look: A Micro SD card you can get at Walmart for $5 can hold the 3d solid model of an AR, the plans for building an AK, the printable 3d pistol, the Constitution, the whole of the Foxfire books. It can be slipped into the spine of a book, snailmailed, implanted under the skin by the non squeamish, glued to the back of a dime, passed from person to person in a kiss and kept under the tongue.
You can’t stop the signal if you start it. That information is as valuable as your stash of guns, ammo, and MRE’s, do you have it safely stored?
Of course not! The very idea that I would have downloaded such a scary thing and stashed in in multiple locations is crazy.
I certainly wouldn’t have loaded it on a flash drive clipped to my keychain and offered it to anyone who mentioned the issue in conversation.

Makes one wonder if all the firearms manufacturers have taken the precautions of securing all their CNC programs properly. Imagine the horror if a big manufacturer like Ruger were to have all their CNC machines fall silent. No guns for a long, long time.
Now multiply that horror by ALL the gun builders.

Dog: Good news is the major manufacturers stay the fuck away from Siemens controls. Smith, colt, all the big names in the US are running Fanuc or Okuma or Mitsubishi. And Fanuc is closed architecture, hack free.
