I do so love the rain
but the havoc it plays with my knees- especially when there’s a rapid change in barometric pressure- is hellish.
Sitting in a car for five hours doesn’t help much, neither does crawling around under a machine for the following six. i did get to a Cabelas tonight, the St louis Cabelas is nice but it’s like a cabelas Kiosk compared to the one in hammond.
they do have a nice gun library. Still no ammo though.

As soon as you mentioned Cabelas, I was wondering about their ammo selection.
Everything is still empty shelves here too (A few boxes of 7mm and plenty of shotgun ammo excepted).
Was in a Big R in Warsaw Sunday afterr church. Lots of shotgun and some of the more esoteric ammo. Multiple boxes of .460 JSP.
I feel ya on the knees thing. I’m hobbling around like mr tudball all day.
At the Portland funshow this weekend, plenty of ammo, still robber-baron prices. Pipeline seems to be dribbling again, a good sign.
Sportsman’s warehoue has some on Tuesdays. Usually sold out by end of day.
A Cabellas without ammo is like a day without sunshine.
Even though I have a good stockpile, I am hesitant to use any since I don’t know if I can afford to replace anything I use, or if I will be able to find any at any price.
