That was a hoot!
Nice to have a good chainsaw that runs reliably to do the clearing. I have a lot of shit to do, but it’s moving along.
There’s a duck nest six feet away from the tree, so I was careful not to disturb that, and after a nights worth of sawing I came upto the house to note that a bigass owl is perching on the downed tree. Looked like a greay, it had bright yellow eyes- and it was spooky to look at. Eventually it flew away, I assume it was brought in on the storm.
Lots of changest today, lots of news, lots of odd occurrences and happenings. Schnoz seems to be healing well. Back to the grind, as it were, tomorrow.
A productive day can be a real tonic. Have a good one again today.
usually after a day like you describe I need to return to the daily grind so I can heal whatever went out the day before.

I will most assuredly take you up on that, as I have a lot of the stump etc to cut up and I expect it will require a good deal of dirt cutting, and spare blades will come in extra handy.
