If you don’t want the Colt logo, and you don’t care about perfectly lining up the stars etc, they can be used on slim grips with minor modifications tothe screws. The colt logo, unfortunately,. lends itself better to thicker grips.

do they come with rotary tables or dividing heads? I seem to have a jones for one or both right now. Everything else is not tempting…..
Those Colt grip screws wouldn’t look proper on my Springer. Does he make crossed cannon grip screws?

Part of my “retirement planning” is getting my manual machine shop working. I used a super spacer a few times in the 80’s. Nice tool. Looking for a 10 inch RT and/or a BS#1 size dividing head with tail stock (wish wish). Might could do with a super spacer and tailstock. Down here is South Tx, those are kinda rare. Fleabay want’s new plus 40% for a ragged out antique. If’n I was well to do, no problem, but I’m trying to tool this shop on my current paycheck. Gotta love life.
Vman: The “Star of david” might not be your thing but the Maltese cross… I could see you as a crusader.
Stx: You are looking in the wrong places. Go to auctions, go to old machine shops, that sort of thing. I see super spacers and rotarys being thrown away. Shit, I see Haas spacers going for a couple hundred bucks.

Not much in the way of fab going on down this way that I can find. I did get a deal on a damaged surface grinder. It just about killed a lady when they were moving it. sold it to me so they didn’t have to look at it.
Thrown away?!?!?!?! Yeah, now I’m gonna go cry.
I’d love to get some real tooling. Auctions down here are antique furniture mostly. Pickings are slim.
Good advice, I’ll keep looking. I’m gonna scope out the machine shops in the area and start making friends.
Thanks for the heads up. If you find anything you’d like to sell me, let me know. You got my email.
Those are NICE, sadly I have slim grips, which they don’t fit… dammit…
