i ordinarily only wear contacts
When im swimming, anymore. Trouble is i really like it, but i cant wear them for any length of time anymore, they glue themselves to my eyeballs. Might be time to look at lasik.

Had LASIK a little over a year ago. Due to DOT requirements I had to have both eyes corrected for distance vision, meaning I wear cheaters for close-up work, but not for reading (yet).
My only regret is not doing it sooner.
Your mileage may vary.
If I could, I’d have had it years ago.
I had Lasik 16 years ago and have never regretted it a day. Just be sure to go to a corneal surgeon. A bit more money but well worth it!
There is a alternative to lasik that is better I here. Since I am the original one eyed fat man I will not take a chance wit my reamining orb.
Most people I know who have it are in pretty good shape sight wise.
I think about every hunting season, as I am trying different breathing techniques to keep my glasses from fogging up.
As a pilot who flew fast things, I was told not to get it, but the technology has great improved. I still won’t get it, not wishing even a rare chance of night vision issues but damn I wish my glasses would quit fogging up when I’m about ready to pull the trigger.
