Since I have
a good deal of damage to my left knee, I can no longer straighten it at all. Consequently, my left leg is, when “Fully extended”, a bit shorter than my right. On long walks, this means I tend to veer to the left. And I have always wondered how much.
So last tuesday, I had a fairly large (Because of the cool temperatures) beach to myself. Looking straight ahead, with no landmarks on the horizon, I walked down the beach to the water
And I ended up about seven feet to the left of where I started. So left to my own devices, without a landmark to guide me, I will walk in a circle a little over a mile in diameter.
yeah, I have little business going on vacation, I’m no good on my own.

My right leg was always 3/8″ longer than my left. When I had my right knee replaced, the surgeon made ’em both the same length. After the surgery healed and I began walking again, I was sea-sick for weeks. The surgeon told me to jog in a large figure eight for fifteen minutes each evening on the driveway. This was for my brain to re-learn where my feet were. He had some multisyllabic hard to prounounce doctor word for it. It took two weeks for the sea sickness to go away. Humans is freakin’ weird.

Yep, my left is longer than my right, and the right is the one that had not had as much trauma. Pretty sure I would circle, but I usually have a point I am heading for so I don’t notice.
Leave it to Og to answer the questions inquiring minds need to know.
When those GPS chips become implantable….
Get one.
Nope. I would never want the ability to be found no matter what.
And here I figured you would lean to the right…..
I do, if you’re looking at me.
My philosophy might be right, but my body leans left. Left leg is longer but left hip was beat beyond recognition. Hence the leftward cant.
Sounds like Og and I would make good book ends.
jesus, can you imagine THAT library?
Go to a pep boys and get an alignment.
Well, I would think it could answer any question the user might pose. Now that would be a good book shelf. lol
