This kind of weather
Cool mornings and cool evenings makes it all too easy to go to bed and all too hard to get back out in the morning.
Last night at the club one of the area police trainers put on a presentation about the use of deadly force, and it was not only informative but enjoyable, and gave me some food for thought. Need a day or two to digest it all.
Modern SWAT team “use of force”:

….. *bang! bang! bang! bang!….bangbangbangbangbangbangbang!

I know once I was asked, why do you want to carry a gun, you are a big guy. I responded yes, but there are bigger meaner guys out there.
You never know what kind of surprise your assailant has in store.
For the most part, I do not expect to be attacked by a black belt. But I could be attacked by one of the military trained people and that would be as bad.
