If the links are factual, it could mean a great number of things, but when I adjust my tinfoil hat properly, it sounds like the libs are preparing to incite a riot, where the SNAP/EBT card people are forced to rise up against- well, us. This will have several effects:
1: We will, as we are capable, defend ourselves and our property.
2: This defense will be portrayed by the media as senseless slaughter of innocents by crool and hartless rethuglicans.
3: THAT media circus will be used as a reason to disarm us and worse.
So my suggestion is not- as others suggest- go galt, but go Gandhi. If you see this in your community, get a group of people together and set up places where people can get a meal. Make DAMNED SURE everyone knows you’re one of those evil conservative Christian types. Fight the enemy with his own weapons. Steal his thunder from under his nose.
I tend to agree they will foment some kind of event with the S.N.A.P.\E.B.T. cards.
I tend to think it will be DHS that disperses the crowd, and there will be a massacre. When D. H. S. owns A. P. C.’s they have to have some use in mind. Just not sure how we will get blamed.
I agree that getting involved with a church is a good idea and the ghandi approach might work. The AGAPE garden we have at our church yielded 15,000 pounds of produce for Food Pantry this year.

I’d be a dollar it was NTEU, the Park employees’ union. (Maybe with some assistance from AFSCME?)
NTEU won’t have any issues with rapid response, and will have plenty of money to pay for sign-making at quick commercial vendors, and would explain common design. Unions are great at printing signs.
It’s all a thousand times more likely and less complicated as a Union response to the shutdown than a completely pointless plot by the government to get signs printed half a year in advance.

It’s being dragged out of the NPS director in the video. that he coordinated closure with the WH in this video. No indication yet over how long a period that was. But he does indicate that there had been several planning conversations with the Sec of Interior. How many days, weeks, months before Oct 1st are somehow not being asked.
