Yep. moved about 30 or so 16×16 inch squares of brick. They seem to get heavier every time I move them. Since they have been moved to another location I am hopefully done with them.
I spent the afternoon building a computer desk for my mother and then moving heavy furniture around in her apartment single-handedly.
I think I can relate somewhat. At least my muscles can. I’m not used to doing that kind of crap anymore.
Tried to run with the old dawg instead of just walking her. Today it hurts to walk.
Apparently the old dawg is in better shape than this old man.
I spent Sunday chasing chukar with a good friend and our dogs . All six of us are sore today, but smiling.
Drilled 48 holes in steel plate and square tubing. The plate was 1/4″, and those holes went to 5/8″. Tubing was 3/16″, and the holes went to 1″.
Rig is going into my neighbor’s MMA gym, being welded up by his nephew, who is a Master Welder in one of the refineries.
So, a progression of bits, starting at 1/8″, and working up. Each plate had to be drilled three times to size, and the tubing, four.
Went through about 1/2 qt. of oil, made a metric assload of swarf, and gave my drill press one hell of a workout.
My right arm and shoulder, too.
