If
Wingnuthead was truly serious about the Obamacare website, hed be snagging the guys who write the code for the porn sites. Those sites get the most traffic on the internet, and they never go down.
Well, you know what i mean. The WEBSITES never go down.
If he was serious, which he isnt.
The endgame on this is and has always been to throw up their hands and say “we tried to make it work with independant providers and it just doesnt” and put everyone on medicaid.

Yes.
But we can damage the hell out of the Democrat brand on the way there.
Not that that will do one whit of good in stopping the march of totalitarianism. But it’s all we’ve got, so sink it to the hilt and twist!
I’d like to be able to chalk it all up to rank incompetence, but it’s getting harder and harder to do so.
As for damaging the Democrat brand, the media will say it’s all the fault of those Republicans who tried to block O’care and the only people who won’t believe them are people who wouldn’t vote D anyway.
“Those sites” as a whole do, but I’m not sure any of them get a vastly huge amount individually.
And, well, all they’re doing is serving images or video to people who authenticate; many of them – quite wisely – don’t even do their own transaction processing for payment.
The ACA website is – and I say this as a programmer, not a partisan* – vastly more complicated.
Porn sites can be – and I believe probably often are – simply run by changing templates on a known design.
You just can’t do that with something as complex as Congress made the ACA exchanges, especially with all the other regulatory hurdles.
And you can’t do it fast, for the same reason.
(* As a matter of policy, I want the ACA repealed yesterday, and the current fiasco is probably the best real-world route to it.
Pity about the poor innocent sods hurt on the way, but that’s the problem with States.)
You probably dont visit the same pornsites i do.
Yes, there is a complexity levetl. No, there doesnt have to be. At some point its about bandwidth and clean code and they provided for neither.
I wish a simple crash would make this go away, but i expect this is the shape of things to come.
He did say he wanted to fundamentally change our society. the people elected him anyway as a lot of people wanted some change. I don’t think anyone wanted this much.
These guys knocked out in one weekend a site that does what the ACA sight should have done

Go, enter your data, and get mad.
The intent was that it crash. I think there was a brainfart in there that found it an easy path to Single Payer. “Look! See? The market failed. We’ll have to go the government route.” Never mind that markets had been doing just fine from the beginning of time up until FDR fucked things up during WWII. Like somebody said: the problem with States.

Actually, I just looked- and Xhamster, one of the more popular porn sites…. allegedly….
has an Alexa rating higher than IMDB, or Adobe, or Blogger, or Craigslist. Pretty impressive, even if they don’t do all the shit Obamacare does. And hell, Obamacare is just socialist porn writ large. You don’t think there are lefties jerking off now thinking of the control they finally have?
But Medicare can only exist because there are private insurers to shift costs onto when Medicare doesn’t pay enough.
Actually, wingnuthead is aiming for medicaid, not medicare. And medicaid is utterly non self supporting.
