Emily Yzaguirre of Cedar Lake, Indiana (the town where I lived from infancy to 18) was the near victim of an abduction yesterday, April 27.

I say near, because the 7 year old appears to have been reading Kim Du Toit’s weblog. She didn’t have a gun, but she kicked and fought her way free, and rode her bicycle away from the scene, where, allegedly, 25 year old “Charles Aich” (Pronounced ike) attempted to grab her.

Police said Aitch had scratching and bruising. A seven year old kicking a 25 year old prevert’s ass.
