The New Jews- never again my ass
Bloomberg has begun confiscating weapons.
In the NY metro area, there are, if I remember my numbers, more Jews than anywhere but Israel. But they don’t have anything to worry about, based on their ethnicity. No, the new Jews are the tea partiers. The patriots. Global warming ‘Deniers”. Anyone who is “intolerant” of liberal ideas. (You’ll be fine if you’re intolerant of freedom, by the way) We saw what happened to the people who resisted last time they started confiscating weapons. Let me remind you of the words of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn: We did not love freedom enough.

All that that implies
There are people who say “Never again” meaning it’ll never happen to ANYONE again. There are people who say “Never again” meaning it’ll never happen to THEM again, but they’re perfectly willing to let it happen to someone else, and they’ll even help to make it happen. The latter are much more common.
Just like that dumb actress (redundancy alert, but forget which one it was) a few years back who said there would be no wars once they put the mothers in charge. ORLY? Never watched two mothers get into it over whether their children were getting their due? Lots of mothers are perfectly willing to let some other mother’s child come home in a box as long as hers is safe.
When push comes to shove, most people value their life more than their freedom, hence prisons and slavery. It’s a sorry state of affairs, but only human. Probably the more we turn from a belief in an afterlife the more we’re willing to compromise to prolong the life we have. Heinlein once wrote, The price of freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, at any time, and with utter recklessness. “Utter recklessness” means with a profound disregard of one’s life. Most of us who profess to believe that will fail when the jackboots finally show up.
Remember the raid on TJIC’s home this past Fourth of July? TJIC knew that moment might arrive, he had a Gadsden Flag and a US flag in the house and a copy of the Declaration of Independence taped to the door. The jackboots arrived, as did the moment, and…TJIC called his lawyer. Well, to do otherwise would mean his life, and Jenn’s. Did they discuss that scenario in advance? TJIC had the right to forfeit his own life, but did he have the right to forfeit Jenn’s, also?
It’s a lot to ask of any man or woman.

No, I do not know how far from a city of say, 1 million or more you would have to go.
What I’d like to know is when are the AGs of the states where Bloomie’s agents are making straw purchases IN VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW are going to start indicting him for that shit?
