Went to mass.
There were but few of us there. Went to breakfast at the Omelette House, and there was a sea of empty tables, I have NEVER seen an empty table not immediately filled there, not in years. Stopped for milk, because we were already out, got a fresh gallon of antifreeze, and came home.
The drive is easily six inches deep in snpw and will be deeper before it’s over, I won’t be snowblowing until it’s done or at least a lot later in the day, whichever comes first.
I have a job tomorrow out of town but I may take a snow day, more so because of the cold than the snow. And they supposedly got hit harder there than we did here. So For today, I have a self imposed snow day. I’ll get prepped for my upcoming weeks and declare myself snowbound

Cold down here. Church had about half attendance. Have not been to any restaurants today but I-Hop was about empty last night.
About the warmest place I can find is in the car. Although being a snow bank would dim that some what.
Stay safe. Back when I was indestructible I did some things that I would not do now.
Talked with the boy down in central IL (Uof I) and read a post from a friend down Peoria way…they are in the process of really getting hammered (snow, wind, temps).
We got maybe an couple of inches up here in the hinterlands…and now the temps are dropping…around 9 degrees right now and expect it to get colder.
Stay safe, warm, and dry my friend!! This global warming can’t last forever!!!
Reads the “Long Earth,” quotes Donald Fagan. I knew there was a reason I liked you.
