As Mr B says
Lake effect is like a blind date- you never know how many inches you’re gonna get, or how long it’s gonna last.
We got a couple inches yesterday, more suited to a leafblower than a snowblower, but it’ll do till something more annoying comes along.
I doubt I’ll be able to park the snowblower anytime soon, but I like to hope that the worst of this is behind us. At this time, in 2009, it was 65 degrees.
I can’t wait till spring, that’s for sure. And I expect I will have to spend some time reloading and shooting larger caliber stuff, because I doubt I will be seeing any 22 any time soon.

The local Dunhams here, had Thunderbolts on the shelf for over two whole days. With a 4 box limit also.
Maybe things are starting to look up.
The better 22’s have been few and far between though.
I’ve seen some no name stuff at various places. No Winchester or Remington though.
All I am seeing is 22 at the gun shows, marked up to $80/brick. I’d like to buy a couple more 22 guns, but not until I can get ammo for them.
I did see some 22LR coming in from offshore.
Last time I saw any .22 on the shelf here in OKC was a good month ago at a Wally World; before that some at Academy, before that nothing.
Told a lady I know the other day that I never thought I’d see it easier and cheaper to feed a 9mm than a .22
