I go someplace new, different. I invariably dress the same all the time, but I change socks and outergarments based on what my day will be like, and since I knew I would be changing shoes outdoors at least twice, I wore woolies.

See, most places I go, I have to wear steel toes. And they are uncomfortable to drive in. So I wear my CAPPS to the customer, and swap shoes going in and out of the shop.

We have gone from 47 degrees to 27 degrees in the last 24 hours, and the customer’s parking lot was a sheet of black ice in wind. So I took off my left shoe and slipped on my boot, then took off my right shoe…

… and the wind started blowing my street shoes toward the busy street. So I hopped on one foot over to grab them, thinking, this would be comical as shit, if someone else was doing it.
