   You’re getting it! Didn’t you get the latest memo? Global warming prompted an unusually cold and snowy winter by causing all those polar vortices!

   Meanwhile, over here in REALITY, at least this batch isn’t supposed to hang around all that long. 40s predicted for Friday….

   Got a dusting here as well. And other than G-d having the grand sense of humor that he does….”Some of my errant children are trying to fool the world into believing temperatures are on the increase…for their own personal aggrandizement?” …. hmmmm, what could I do to give them a gentle reminder….Yes, yes!! Snow in March, April, May, and maybe June…..” all you can do is look at the bright side. At least we didn’t need to shovel anything….this time!

   It is worth mentioning, if you are in your 50’s or older, that this was much closer to the norm in winter-ness, than what we have been experiencing in the past 10-20 years. I have seen at least a dusting of snow on my birthday (in early May)….and I seem to recall there was almost snow on a 4th of July back in the late 60’s-early 70’s.

   As usual, California gets all of it. Record high temp here of 85. Old record of 83 was set in the ’30’s.
