Gander Mountain
had some 22 on sale, I grabbed a box this AM on the way in to work. It didn’t last long but it is at least there. $24 for 525 rounds of Federal. Decent price and decent ammo.

What I am seeing is that the gun stores are buying the 22 from places like walmart and gander and then jacking the prices back at their own stores or at gun shows.
At $25 a brick, I’d buy all they would allow. Then I would even buy some new guns that use that size.
It has been over a year since I have seen any 22 on any store shelves.
Geez. Last time I bought a brick at WalMart it was eight bucks. Still have it, don’t shoot much .22 these days.
They limited to one brick per customer. otherwise I would have gotten at least four.
I’ve seen 22 on the shelf twice since December 2012. Once at scheels, for $45 per brick. Once at a gun shop at 10 bucks per 100 pack.
My uncle found some at $60 per brick. That store supposedly sold a million rounds at that price.
Have not bought any in a couple years.
Was at the Toledo G.M. just this afternoon. The guy told us that their .22 arrives in-store on Saturday AM, and people line up down the sidewalk to buy some. They’ve had the Bucket O’ Boolits available, but he says you can’t bet on anything. Sometimes they get just a little bit, other times a couple of pallets of ammo.
