Whoa!!!!
Just downloaded and installed pale moon. I had issues with the WordPress interface in Firefox and it never worked at all in Chrome, but pale moon seems to love it. I am in like flint, baby.

Just switched over this morning seems to work fine.
I thought palemoon was based on mozilla.
Ed, you’re right in that it is based on the code, which is open source. Pale Moon itself has nothing to do with the Mozilla brand name. It is the result of the efforts by M.C.Straver.

Just so you don’t give firefox anything favorable:
1.Create a new tab.
2.Type “about:config†into the Address Bar as if it were an internet site (URL).
3.Type “compatMode†into the Search box that will appear right below the Address Bar.
4.On the line general.useragent.compatMode.firefox there are three settings: user set, boolean, true. Click on “true†and it will change to false.
5.Close the tab.

Seems to start faster than Firefox. Upshot: I got rid of Firefox.
I’ve been happy with either Opera or Chromium (not Chrome) on my Linux laptop. FireFox long ago lost me with their Unresponsive Script lock-ups. For my Windows machine, I want to ditch Thunderbird, too. Any suggestions on a good free e-mail program that’s good at not getting hacked or subject to a lot of virus attacks? I figure if I stay away from the most popular ones, malware writers won’t find it worth their while to make mal-code for it.
Just loaded Pale Moon earlier today; my, that was painless.
Did the change so it doesn’t register as Firefox, too.
The saying is “In like Flynn”. A sexual connotation, related to Errol Flynn. Link to background of saying here:

I wasn’t saying the saying, I was quoting the movie, as Bill said.
