Always nice to have a little company
Though, really, one of these in the bathtub is not my idea of fun.
It’s that time of year, though, so I just have to be used to laundering these creepy little arthropods out of my socks.

God’s little joke on us. :-)
I get house centipedes too. They’re good at eating all the, “bad” things, spiders, even roaches. But I still hate them. Had one fall on my face one night in bed. Gets your attention.
I grew up in Hawaii where the centipedes are a top predator, big, fast and have vicious bites.
Are these long-legged versions venomous too?
I know they can bite but I don’t think they have much in the way of venom.
Fortunately: “Unlike its shorter-legged but much larger tropical cousins, S. coleoptrata can live its entire life inside a building, usually the ground levels of homes. They are generally considered harmless to humans.[11] Bites (stings) are extremely uncommon, and the forcipules of most house centipedes are not strong enough to penetrate human skin. They still give me the creeping willies more than just about any other commonly-encountered bug.
I sure dont like them. And I spent most of the weekend with a bleeding head wound do its not like I’m a pussy.
