Voter fatigue.
I get that people are sick to death of the process that seems so fucked up that there doesn’t seem to be any use in using it.
Trust me on this: You don’t want to go about changing the world you live in ANY OTHER WAY.
Politics is not a dial you turn to the left and right. There will never be a perfect candidate. It is a tug of war and everyone who drops the rope makes it harder for everyone else who stays to fight. Meanwhile the other side NEVER stops pulling. You want change, you gotta make it.

If you want a perfect presidential candidate, you have to start by growing them when they are congressional/Governor/AG candidates. NEVER let someone stay in office for more than ten years. That’s when they get their sense of entitlement to be there. Obama is an exception because he was born entitled.
Hold your nose if you need to but vote. We need to overturn the fraudulent votes the Dems cast.
We need to keep our faith in the system. Incrementalism works, incrementally. It’s not a fast process. The situation we are in today has been in the works for at least 70 years, maybe 100 years or more. We must keep planting the seeds so that our grandchildren will see the sprouts and our great grandchildren may harvest the fruit.
Well said Slash.
Hell, I will be happy if my son can pick some grapes. I think if we can get people to realize just how bankrupt the Dems are, it might change pretty quick.
Course the weakling in chief we have now does not understand Europe like Putin so we will most likely have WWIII before the grapes are ready.
War is a choice. Iran has been at war with us for over 30 years. We have chosen to ignore them. Russia can retake the whole Soviet empire back for all I care. That doesn’t require us to get into WW3.
Hale….you may be correct on both counts…but that doesn’t prevent our “fearless leaders” (yes, those are scorn quotes…but you knew this…) from “volunteering our services” should they feel the need. In the case of the Russians (and perhaps even the Chicoms) there may be more than a little chance of them deciding to make a move on us first….or at least doing something to one of our allies that per defense pacts, requires us to come to their aid ( I am thinking more of Taiwan here….but there are others.)
When you have an administration, and Department of State, and (perhaps) government in general, which is perceived as being weak and indecisive…the wolves are very inclined to take advantage of this. And you also have a government who feels the need to respond in such a fashion as to shatter this belief (or at least there used to be)….it is not a good recipe for continued “peace”….or even worse…not a great way to prevent a “nuclear eruption’ of some sort.
Never back a coward into a corner. Our current leader meets the definition of coward. We shall see if Putin will put him in a corner. I am sure the Reps will give it good go.
It could get really interesting soon.
As Mark Twain famously stated “if voting made a difference it would be outlawed”. A very wise and sage observation as it really does not matter in more than 90% of the races in America which candidate you vote for. NO candidate who poses a serious threat to the status quo will EVER have more than an outside chance at winning ANY office above state level…..EVER. Virtually ALL the power in America now resides in Mordor on the Potomac and ALL candidates for national office, ALL candidates for judicial appointment and ALL candidates who might possibly have ANY chance at helming ANY federal agency are owned lock stock and barrel by the special interests that control this country. Folks….we ain’t voting our way out of this mess…..the choices are VERY SIMPLE…..accept the ever growing size and scope of the fed government with eventual enslavement of everybody or rebel…..neither choice is pretty, both choices will result in massive casualties…BUT, choice number two results in casualties where government insiders ALSO die. Choice one ONLY has citizens dying.
Excellent! And 100% wrong.
Wish I was wrong….I’m not. And history supports my take on things.
People in power are there because they WANT TO HAVE POWER. They aren’t there to serve, they aren’t there to do good things. They are there to get rich, amass power and control things.
People like that DO NOT GIVE UP POWER WILLINGLY. That is why we have massive PROVEN instances of vote fraud. Why the IRS et.al are used to harass, intimidate and destroy people who pose any threat to those in power and why the badgemonkeys of America commit murder and mayhem at will…ON VIDEO EVERY GODDAMN DAY with impunity.
The people in power have no intention of stepping down, they have no intention on allowing us to vote their puppets out of office to be replaced by people they DON’T control and they have NO QUALMS about killing innocent citizens and covering it up because they own virtually every judge and DA in America.
As I said things go one of two ways…
both of them involve massive pain, misery and death….but at least the one involving revolt spreads that suffering around to the ones in power.
You are provably demonstrably wrong in almost everything you say, and you are the specific problem with this nation.
