Alright, you monkeys.
I can’t carry most of the time, because most of the time I am in the PRI. And most of the companies I deal with have strident and stringent anti-gun policies.
I have never been unarmed. I may regularly be under armed, due to the stupid laws and rules in the places I go, but so long as I have a functioning brain I am never unarmed. No, that doesn’t help much in a gunfight. OTOH, it does help me do the things that avoid the possibility I will be in a gunfight, and I think I share this with most people who carry.
I have- as an experiment- concealed an M1 carbine. I’m a big guy, and I have joked about this in the past, but just to see if I could, I did. I did so around people who read this blog and they never had any idea.
Open carry a rifle in a restaurant? mall ninja newbie wannabe bullshit that has fucked the rest of us who do what we can not to draw attention to ourselves. Stop that shit, you dumbasses.

Amen. I do not want the perp identifying me as the guy to shoot first. I am not out to intimidate anyone by the fact I have a gun. Or not, as the case may be.
Those two were clearly idiots. Who the heck wants to eat a meal in a semi-fastfood chain with asshats waving their ARs around. Not me.
More importantly, who wants idiots like that around should the SHTF? Then again, their presence might get you the couple seconds you need to get a grip on the situation since those two will be the first ones in somebody’s crosshairs. And should you need to get your hands on an AR quickly, you’ll know which cold, dead hands you can pry it out of.
With in their right(s)? Perhaps. Stupid and willfully antagonistic? Yeppers. Because of their unwillingness to recognize that what was “acceptable” a couple of hundred years ago (or less in some cases), as far as open carry goes, is not the case in this time and place….
You are correct, they are little more than sh*t stirrers, giving those who would seek to prevent the rest of us from exercising our 2nd amendment right. They feed those who work off emotion(s)…..in other words, your typical libtard.
Concealed an M1?
And here I just thought that you were happy to see me.
Just because you CAN doesn’t mean you SHOULD.
Lol.
Is it true that Michael Bloomberg wrote a check to Open Carry Texas along with a note “Keep Up the Good Work!”
My former manager once saw me cutting open a box with the 1 1/2 inch blade of my mini-multi-tool (I carry it in the change pocket on my jeans, which tells you how tiny it is). She told me to leave it home from now on, since we have a “no weapons” policy. I’m just careful that no one sees me using it anymore, and it’s a good thing she never saw the regular pocketknife I carry, or the full-size multi tool in my bag, or the other one in my desk. Or the cheap claw hammer in my bugout bag under my desk (added after 9/11 when I read about people who escaped the World Trade Center by breaking thru a wall when the door was blocked, using window washing tools).
The properly trained, organized and inventive MIND is a weapon. Everything else is merely a tool.
How many of you have those window busting hammers in your vehicles in case you hit the water? Just curious. Since I’m around racing people we tend to have more of those kinds of things around, is it just us?

BTW, if you really want to see guns on parade, move to Georgia. Starting July 1st you can carry most anywhere, including school, church, and establishments that serve alcohol. I expect more interesting times this summer.

PS We’re also having a real rash of home invasions/killings too; for half a second there I thought I moved to Chicago and forgot to tell myself.
Had a mtg at work today where they discussed finding a security agency that could get a gaurd on site within 24 hours.
If they were smart, eight of us could go to the parking lot and come back sooner than that.
Or never have to leave.
Times have really changed. I once worked with an IT guy who used a stiletto as a pointer in a meeting — he pulled it out of his jacket zip-gun style, even — I thought it was hilarious but nowadays that would probably get him escorted to the parking lot and possibly to jail.
(Wusses.)
I would still prefer some quiet experienced citizens. I’ve felt that way since, oh, Luby’s Cafeteria. To name just one.

What’s sad is that I live in an OC State (Ohio) and the only ones I see carrying openly are the “Only Ones”, i.e., Cops. And Hunters moving into the Fields and Woods during the Season.
But we have over a quarter-million CHPs issued.
Which comforts me a lot more than a 19 year old guy OCing a Mossberg 500 into the local Grocery Store, even though he’s Legally allowed to do so.
