   It’s quite possible he had it floored and it just wouldn’t go. Back in the day, Jags were famous for requiring more maintenance hours than they gave driving hours. There was great sport at the driving ‘zines to take Jags and replace their finicky engines with more tractable US powerplants.

    I get the same feeling riding my bikes, none of which is less than 32 years old.
    I stay away from the kamikaze riders (squids, although the term bothers me as a USN vet), but an amazing number of folks ride 600s as if they’re 125s, while I ride a 500 like it’s a 750, & my 900 like…

    You are in the left lane of a super-highway. You are not doing the speed limit. The screeching you are hearing is people trying to avoid rear ending you. The whooshing noise is people passing you on thr right.

    What part of the problem are you failing to understand.
