When it’s time to shoot, shoot.
I have been envisioning this as a long drawn out post, and Tuco’s death reminded me.
I know bunches of people who have ascribed to the demonstrable lie that “Voting doesn’t matter”. (or variations on that theme)
OK. if you want to live via a lie, that’s your business, and none of mine.
I am gonna point out this one thing: When the electoral process has stopped mattering, and is no longer capable of changing anything, that is the time to shoot, not to talk. You believe voting can’t change anything? great! Who did you shoot today? Because if the electoral process doesn’t matter, then not shooting someone means you like what you’re getting just fine.
I will be literally inside a machine all day today, probably unable to respond to any comments till nightfall, if even then.

You are correct. Unfortunately, unless a significant portion of the populace agrees, to follow your advice is fruitless.
No one wants to be the lone gunman in the clock tower. Sacrificing yourself for no gain is a waste.

But as a group, in the voting booth, we can do everything, if we just don’t give up. Anyone who gives up and isn’t pulling the trigger right now is, in my opinion, a whiny bitch.

I just don’t vote for either of the establishment candidates if I don’t think they are suited for the job.
I do vote. Sometimes it actually matters. But voting for a lesser evil is a waste(especially if they won’t win, much like McCain or Rommney), unless you count the fact that it negates some liberal’s vote (at best). Remember all those “Tea Party Candidates”? Everyone said a vote for them was a waste of time and a waste of a vote, yet they are in office. They were, in effect, third party candidates..Some are even making a difference.
And everything about that is a lie you choose to believe.
John Kerry is in Iraq, just like Condy Rice was and did….telling Iraq’s neighbors to stay out, while the US from the opposite side of the globe injects hundreds of ‘advisors’
as a prelude to even further intervention.

Rand Paul is the only candidate from either party who might make a difference, and the Elite will use Ted Cruz if necessary to make sure Paul ( a watered down version of his dad for sure) doesn’t get the nomination.
