Using the few decent days I have
to try to get some of the issues in the front yard resolved. The back I have pretty much given up on, until the cold weather of fall lets me run around without fear of critters. Finally, a bit of gloebull warmening. And now I’m sweating like a maniac.

Yep, the season appear to be shifting slightly. Not to sure as to direction, but summer seemed really short this year.
Yellow jacket cure.
You wil need a can of beef consomme or a jar of beef soup base concentrate, a cookie sheet, alum. foil, two packets of Knox Gelatin and a large container of rose dust containinn diazinon.
Make up two or three cups of Knox gelatin with consomee or reconstitured beef soup base, Mix the rose dust in and pour the nefarious concoction into the cookie sheet that has been lined with alumin(i)um foil. Allow it to gel, then cut it in strips and put then wher the YJ’s can find ’em, nip off chunks and tell their pointy butt buddies about it. Diazinon is a slow acting insecticide and will kill off the nest in a week or so. Put the gel where only YJ’s have access. Don’t wanna kill the pets, do ya?
As YJ’s stay within about 200 yds or so of home this will taked care of the nests that are pissing you off and leave the others to do their thing.
