All other things being equal
I’m enjoying wearing my wooly socks. I don’t think this winter will be as bad as the last, but I do think it will suck. And I doubt anything will make it any better. Reminds me, I need t get the snowblower dug out and put some extend on some rust spots therin. Not taking any chances with that bugger, it saved my ass last year.

My wife wanted to buy me a snow blower last year, I told her I didn’t need/want one and had no place to keep it. Of course it snowed in amounts best measured in giraffe-hoof-to-anus-distance.
I’ll have to get mine out and check it over. Sliders are what usually has issues with me.
Snow blowers are the best thing in snow lands.
Still full-on summer here. You know it’s hot when you consider a 95-degree day to be a respite.
Getting too old to handle as much snow as we’ve had the past few years w/o a snowblower. Just added it for the last 1.5 winters (got it AFTER the worst snowstorm of my experience – 30 inches, actually got up on the roof and shoveled, not fun).
What I find is it keeps neighbors friendly and cooperative when you blast out their snow plow piles for them. Still work to use but not the same back breaking work as shoveling that stuff when its so deep.
Jut some suggestions for those new to snowblowers. Use Marvel Mystery Oil or one of the marine versions that does similar stuff, keep some “dry gas” handy, and condition your gasoline. Run the carb dry after using, empty the tank at the end of the season. I’ve learned to do this for all small engines anymore. Got the advice from a guy who maintains small engines for a large, urban fire dept. It works.
