Fuck ‘im. pull the plug. After all, we yanked the cord on Terri Schiavo, who was substantially more responsive. What? you mean Randal has a spouse who doesn’t want to discard him like a used kleenex for his new girlfriend and kids? Ah.
Nevermind..
And for all of those who are going to comment “at least this guy has a chance of recovery” so did Terri, if her murdering husband hadn’t messed with her. One way or another; it’s the job of the creator to make those decisions.
I’m with you Og. It seems there are many who support killing the innocent but oppose killing the known murderer. I believe it s not our judgement to make. Go figure.
I don’t have nearly the amount of sympathy for this guy as I did Schiavo. Her case struck me much differently.
He was getting paid, she was being murdered.

Hallelujah! I can’t tell you how many people I know who sided with the husband. And just last week I was talking with a co-worker who is mostly conservative, but woefully uninformed. She was sad about the situation (as anyone with a fraction of a heart would be) but sympathized more with the husband; that is, until I mentioned how there was no “plug” (and some sources where she could get the history of Terri’s supposed “rehab” (often the denial of it), etc.) All this time she thought Terri had been on life support- – a ventilator, for example.
For chrissakes. How many others didn’t know that basic fact? She was simply being fed- -like a baby needs someone to feed her.
And how many out there don’t know about the sheer hell the body goes through during the horrible process of dehydration?
It still makes me sick to my stomach.
