Still not feeling it.
Lots of stupid out there, and no end in sight. Need some intensive fur therapy and it’s just not happening. Daughter’s truck won’t charge (She lets it set for weeks at a time at school) and now I’m having to have someone I don’t know hundreds of miles away work on it. I’m not tickled about that.
Bugger. Anyway, keep a happy thought. I still need as many as are out there.

Since it sets for weeks a battery would be the way to go. That or a battery buddy that she could keep in her room and hook up when she wanted to go somewhere. That should deter thieves as well.
Good luck!
Has a new battery and alternator.
Well, then it would be connections, unless the battery or alternator are bad.
I suppose it could be a belt as well. If it slips enough that can cause the alternator to not produce enough charge.
Course I spent about 6 months chasing one in the wife’s van and it was dome lights being left on.
If everything tests good, you have to have a drain somewhere.
But you know all this and I feel foolish for suggesting it. lol
Maybe a battery disconnect switch? Pain in the ass to set the clock, etc., every time, but at least nothing will be draining the battery while it’s just sitting there.
Idler pulley locked up and shredded the serpentine belt.
ouch
Might get daughter one of those trickle-charge solar panels for the dash…
All caused by a 59 cent bearing.
Course given the miles that truck has on it, might be a minor miracle it lasted as long as it did.
Good thing the battery was dead as if the truck would have started it would have killed itself. Or her when the steering wheel did not turn.
Lol. She didnt notice it was hard to steer.
Good girl. lol. Glad it was an easy fix.
Yeah, fencing will build up the wrist and forearm, heh, heh.
Hmmm, I am 65, a new battery can save a lot of buggering about…just saying ;-D
The battery IS new. And the alternator.
