Lunch with friends friday and saturday
and then work like a rented mule on sunday. I guess I ought to try to do a little bit at a time here and there instead of trying to do everything at once, all the time. But then I’ve never been all that damned smart. And now I’m beat like a rented mule.
Pictures of Saturdays lunch here. Fridays lunch was at $undisclosed_location.
Stumbled upon a great troubleshooting flowchart, and thought I’d share, its pretty well done. There are sidebar links to other things besides radiator stuff.

Pretty good chart. I know some of my diagnostic skills come from some manuals IBM had as part of the documentation kit for the first PC’s I worked on.
Go nogo works on a lot of stuff, even some really complex systems.
They are also good for pulling one out of a rut…say you are going around in circles at some particular point…review the flow chart, and sometimes it can get you back on track. Perhaps making you look a bit harder at the previous decision point that you thought was “okay”. In any case, they were one of my favorite places to start when working on any particular piece of avionics/ECM.
How interesting. I just got back on line posting about my weekend which involved troubleshooting my heater core and trying to get a lot of stuff done.
Good times with friends ARE worth it…
