The big booths
Are interesting. Glock, Smith, Beretta. The real innovation takes place in the backwater zones, the guy who sells rugged razor sharp knives for the cost of a starbucks. The barrel maker who has a sub arc minute barrel in a sporter weight. The products i know about but cannot talk about. For the moment, innovation is still rewarded in this country. And these people are being rewarded by the crowds around their booths, and the orders being placed.

I knew if I waited long enough I would be able to get a superior long range rifle on an AR-10 platform.
Now I just need to get the parts before they become illegal.
Vendor name on the barrel? If you’re allowed to share that is.
Not on the blog. Maybe in person someday.
::: sigh ::: Wishing we were there.

Rugged razor sharp knives for the cost of a Starbucks? You’ve really got my attention now.
What Knox said.

Morakniv. Heavy blade. Bonded into a solid plastic handle, with a plastic sheath. So sharp you cant imagine.
Dayum. If only they made a folder. Where I work in NYC fixed blade knives scare the sheeple, and will also get you face-planted by the NYPD (if you’re lucky, otherwise you’ll get shot at and someone across the street will be killed).
We have these all around our hunting properties just hanging on trees (the stainless ones). They are immeasurably handy.
Mora makes some good knives. Have me several. Some stainless and some straight carbon steel
