Overheard in the parking lot at Maynards:
Wife, to husband:”I don’t know why you always pull through to the parking space on the other side. It’s twice as hard to back out and if someone comes up behind you, you’re blocked in”
Husband to wife: ….
Partner and I had a conversation about a similar discussion he had with his girlfriend. At least Partner was sharp enough to spot the signs of impending dumbassery and not get married to her.
I hope that the guy knew what he was getting into… or was another part of his body, not heart or brain influencing his decisions?
This was a couple in their 60s.
Now I’m really and truly afraid.

I never understood people who do that with SUVs at big-box stores, you know, where you’re going to want to put stuff in back. Do you realize you have to pull your car halfway into the driving lane to make enough room to get the rear gate open and load your stuff?
I admit I made that mistake with a hatch back. Once. I try to only make NEW mistakes.
