Does someone
eat the food at gun shows? The fudge and candy in open boxes that has been exposed to the sweat and farts and B.O. of ten thousand gomers? I can see the hermetically sealed jerky and such, but let someone scoop malted milk balls however appetizing out of a box that has been open to the atmosphere for a hundred gunshows?

Just think of it as existing for the same reason one lets one’s children play outside: It helps build the immune system.
And have a second helping. With every branch of the government involved in Muslim outreach instead of doing their damned job, you know the CDC is going to let something slip by.
In two words, HELL NO! :-)
At no trade show.
unless it’s a hospitality suite.
Randy, im less concerned about the germs than the “ick” factor.
Ed, some hospitality suites are just as bad if not worse :)
Only if they’re being served by a really pretty lass.

I have been known to buy an overpriced hot dog from from a slack-jawed servitor from time to time. But mostly I try to arrive at the gun show prepared to stay a while. (food, beverage and bathroom attended to before I arrive).
I figure if the food starts looking appetizing, RUN AWAY!
At the Tulsa show, it’s that, bring your own, or don’t eat. Of course, it’s from booths run by the fair and not bad. And clean.
Smaller shows around here, no. Except for occasionally the roasted nuts. Also fresh.
