Came home tonight
To a river running down the driveway, so I called the town just to make sure they hadn’t lost a pipe. They said no, and tested it to make sure it wasn’t my line, and assured me it was all snow melt. After the frozen pipe scare, I was not taking any chances. “Besides” the streets and san guy said “It’s on OUR side”. Couldn’t argue with that. And as night fell and it cooled off, the melt slowed and the river slowed, which wouldn’t have happened if it had been a leak, so I’m tickled.
Winters back is finally broken, but I have a feeling it has at least a couple days of pure spite to dish out.

OH yeah.
Don’t count Ol’ Man Winter out just yet.
I never count on it to really be over ’til my birthday, April Fool’s.
But I too am VERY looking forward to the melt this year. T-man lost his keys (pretty much most the ones that count) while plowing the drive early last month. We’ve made do, but WHAT a pain in the keester.

Yep. Still one good blast left in the old girl. Course if she leaves stage right without clearing her throat I would not miss it.
