Saw a wreck and a spinout on my relatively short commute today, both caused by driving too fast for conditions.

Exactly why I had to take “the slow way” to the Bend yesterday.

Seems there’s always some idiot who thinks s/he’s way too cool to slow down for conditions and ends up sliding off the bypass and snarling up traffic for an hour or two.

Been stuck in their carnage too many times. Nuttin’ worse than NO escape from the bypass.
